Originally planned for GE Network Solutions Americas Users Conference 2002,
this paper discusses how to create and implement a GE Smallworld database in a
worldwide geodedic coordinate system.
Originally presented at the 2005 Smallworld Americas Users Conference. This
presentation discusses a method using double buffering techniques to implement
real time vehicle tracking within Smallworld. The demonstration after the
presentation showed 1000 active entities being refreshed in less then 1/2
second and can be scaled to show 5000 entities in less the 1 sec.
