IT3D-DBGS includes tools to generate lanes from road centerlines. This is specifically design for simulation applications that require individual lane data.

The IT3D-DBGS lane generation algorithm includes trimming the lanes at the intersections which prevents overlaps of the lanes at the intersections. The tool also intelligently connects lane data at the intersection. The algorithm will ensure that only left lanes turn left and go straight and right lanes turn right and go straight at the intersections.

This tool alone has proven to save over 4 months of database development for current customers.
